The International Cricket Council is the universal administrating organization for cricket which is representing 105 member countries from all over the world. The International Cricket Council runs and manages the cricket game and put combine efforts along with its member countries for the better future of the cricket. The International Cricket Council is also responsible to supervise all the events. The International Cricket Council is responsible to keep strict check on the players and other officials and force them to follow the International Cricket Council Code of Conduct, playing conditions, the Decision Review System and other International Cricket Council regulations. The International Cricket Council is also responsible for the appointments of all match officials that officiate at all sanctioned international matches. The International Cricket Council works closely with its Anti-Corruption Unit to eliminate against corruption and match fixing from this gentle men game.

ICC Members:

ICC works hard for creating opportunities for more people and more nations. ICC has Full Members, Associate Members and Affiliate Members. If we talk about Asia there are 21 members of ICC in this region. Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are the ICC Full Member countries in this part of the region. If we talk about Europe there are 33 members of ICC in this region. England is the only ICC Full Member country in this part of the region. While in Africa there are 22 members of ICC in this region. South Africa and Zimbabwe are the ICC Full Member countries in this part of the region. While in East Asia-Pacific part of the world there are 11 ICC member countries in total, Australia and New Zealand being the ICC Full Member countries in this part of the region. . If we talk about Americas there are 17 members of ICC in this region. West Indies is the only ICC Full Member country in this part of the region.

Test Playing Nations:

The International Cricket Council ICC has only awarded few countries from its members the status of test playing nations. The ICC test playing nations are Australia, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, West Indies, South Africa and Zimbabwe. While the Associate & Affiliate Countries are Afghanistan, Ireland, Kenya, Scotland and United Arab Emirates.

According to the ICC Men’s Test Team Rankings India is on the top of the list. India under the captain Virat Kholi has done extremely well in the Tests. India has played 35 matches and has secured 4,208 points. In Test Cricket India has the rating of 120. Australia is behind India on the second spot in the Tests. Australia has played 44 matches and has secured 4,797 points with the rating of 109. After India and Australia there comes South Africa. South Africa is on the third spot in the Test Cricket. South Africa has played 33 matches and has secured more than 3.5 thousand points. In Test Cricket South Africa has the rating of 107. On the fourth position in Test rankings there comes England with the rating of 101. England has played 50 matches and has secured more than 5 thousand points. New Zealand is on the fifth spot in the Test Cricket. New Zealand has played 41 matches and has secured more than 4 thousand points. In Test Cricket New Zealand has the rating of 98.

On the sixth position in Test rankings there comes Pakistan with the rating of 97. Pakistan has played 36 matches under the test team captain Misbah ul Haq and has secured 3,494 points. Sir Lanka is on the seventh position in Test Cricket. Sir Lanka has played 39 matches and has secured 3,578 points. In Test Cricket Sri Lanka has the rating of 92. On the eighth position in Test rankings there comes West Indies with the rating of 69. West Indies has played 30 matches and has secured 2,077 points. Bangladesh is on the ninth spot in the Test Cricket. Bangladesh has played 18 matches and has secured 1,116 points. In Test Cricket Bangladesh has the rating of 62. Zimbabwe is on the last position in Test Cricket. . Zimbabwe has played 10 matches and has secured 48 points.
