Most impressive young cricketers for Pakistan in the Pakistan Super League
Pakistan Super league is well and truly underway in its second edition. The exciting and breathtaking contests in this year PSL is a treat to watch for the cricket lovers. Almost all the teams are well and equally balanced, and that’s why the world is witnessing the nail-bitters from the day one. For Pakistan, PSL is paramount because this is the best platform for them to pick the best talent in the country. On the other side, it’s a dream come true for domestic players to play with their idols in front of a huge crowd.
In the first edition, it was all known, and apart from one of two players it wasn’t all too good for the Pakistan cricket, but in this season, we have witnessed some brilliant shining stars that may be the next big thing for not only Pakistani Cricket but also for the world. These players are;
Hassan Khan (Quetta Gladiators)
Quetta Gladiators is on the top of the points table because of excellent coordination and overall combination of the team. Hassan is a young sensational all-rounder that has the least bowling economy in the entire tournament. He is a left-arm spinner that knows the art of how to bowl in the most critical stages of the match. The young kid is also a handy batsman in the middle order. Not only that, he is one of the best fielders in the entire league as well.
Fakhar Zaman (Lahore Qalandars)
Fakhar Zaman is a top-order left-handed batsman and also known as “Hayden” in the domestic arena. He is a powerful puncher of the ball and has played some great innings so far in the tournament. The skipper McCullum also rated him very high due to his batting skills. He is surely an excellent choice for Pakistan in the limited overs format.
Shadab Khan (Islamabad United)
The teenager Shadab Khan has impressed everyone with his superb overall play. He is not only an excellent exponent of leg spin bowling but also a very useful batsman in the death overs. Almost all the top players failed to pick his wrong one correctly. The young all-rounder is a very handy fielder as well and contributing a lot to the success of his team.
Usama Mir (Karachi Kings)
Another very tricky leg-spinner Usama Mir has shown some great promise in the tournament, and without any doubt, it’s very much on the cards that he will kick the international doors for his selection. His showed steel nerves during his final over against Shahid Afridi and grabbed the victory for his team. The Cricket Gurus are also rating him very high because of his overall Cricketing sense and ability to bowl in crucial stages.
Hassan Ali (Peshawar Zalmi)
Hassan Ali proved to be a real talent for Pakistan in the white ball cricket in the international circuit. In the inaugural edition of the PSL, he also performed very well, and because of that, he cemented his place in the national side. Now, in this season he is also executing his plans accurately and becoming a consistent figure for the Peshawar Zalmi.
