The USA President Donald Trump banned few Muslims countries to enter USA. The American President Donald Trump said in his interview that the seven Muslim Countries are banned from getting American visa. During his first interview to a Television News Channel on 20th January 2017, after taking oath as American President Donald Trump said there are few Muslim countries which will face ban to get American visa as already due to these people our people are suffering a lot. These are those Muslim countries where terrorism is at its peak. The following seven Muslim countries face visa ban Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen.

In spite of US ban, several Muslim names shown at the Oscars award ceremony, 2017. Mahershala Ali became the first Muslim actor to win the Oscar. Iranian film maker Asghar Farhadi won the Oscar for the Salesman. And Syrian Raed ul Saleh was recognised while The White Helmets won the Oscar for the Best Documentary- Short. Anousheh Ansari the business woman, who read the statement of Mr Farhadi at the Oscars award ceremony after winning the Oscar for the Best Documentary- Short were also present at the stage. The USA President Donald Trump ban Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen. The artists from Iran and Syria were unable to attend this award ceremony but they all give the message of Love, Peace and affection in their statements.

The Oscar award ceremony took place on 26th February 2017 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles. During the Oscar awarding ceremony, AMPAS presented Oscars in 24 different categories. The nominees for the Oscar Awards were announced on 24thJanuary 2017, in the following categories Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Original Screenplay, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Animated Feature Film, Best Foreign Language Film, Best Documentary – Feature, Best Documentary – Short Subject, Best Live Action Short Film, Best Animated Short Film, Best Original Score, Best Original Song, Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing, Best Production Design, Best Cinematography, Best Makeup and Hairstyling, Best Costume Design, Best Film Editing and Best Visual Effects.

Moonlight won the Oscar for the Best Picture. The winner for Best Director is Damien Chazelle for La La Landdouble-dagger. The winner for Best Actress is Emma Stone for La La Land as Mia Dolandouble-dagger. The winner for Best Supporting Actor is Mahershala Ali for Moonlight as Juandouble-dagger. The winner for Best Documentary – Short Subject is The White Helmets. The winner for Best Live Action Short Film is Sing. The winner for Best Animated Short Film is Piper. The winner for Best Original Score is La La Land. The winner for Best Original Song is “City of Stars” from La La Land, Music by Justin Hurwitz, Lyric by Benj Pasek and Justin Pauldouble-dagger.

The winner for Best Sound Editing is Arrival – Sylvain Bellemaredouble-dagger. The winner for Best Sound Mixing is Hacksaw Ridge – Kevin O’Connell, Andy Wright, Robert Mackenzie, and Peter Gracedouble-dagger. The winner for Best Production Design is La La Land – David Wasco and Sandy Reynolds-Wascodouble-dagger. The winner for Best Cinematography is La La Land – Linus Sandgrendouble-dagger.
